My name is Morgan McClelland. I am a registered psychologist. I have been practicing for approximately 4 years and involved in the mental health field for over a decade. I have experience with domestic violence, high risk/at risk youth, veterans and RCMP members, first responders, and nurses. I have worked with families for a large portion of my career as well.

I often work with trauma, dissociation, personality-related queries, and overall mood instability. I have experience treating PTSD, dissociation, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive traits. I have specialized training in personality assessment and diagnosis. Therefore, I also specialize in personality disorders.

I am an EMDR therapist and currently working toward EMDR certification. I utilize EMDR techniques in conjunction with ego state therapy and “parts work.” In my experience, this has been a powerful way to address historical attachment trauma and traumatic experiences.

I am a level 2 Emotionally Focused Family Therapist (EFFT). I use this lens to support families who want to change the way they interact and heal from the inside out. The purpose of EFFT is to strengthen emotional bonds between family members, improve communication and conflict resolution skills, help family members express and manage their emotions more effectively, and foster a sense of security within the family unit.

I work to provide corrective experiences for my clients and to be a secure base for those who entrust me with their time and lived experience. Perhaps you have experienced adverse childhood experiences. Or maybe you are in law enforcement, and you have witnessed unforgettable things. Perhaps you were raised by a parent that was not attuned to your emotions or needs. Whatever the case may be- I would be privileged to support you.
